case
After preheating pure oxygen scrap steel with coke oven gas in a steel plant in Hebei, good results were achieved. At present, the average amount of scrap steel added to the ladle is 10 tons, the preheating time is ≤ 10 minutes, the average oxygen consumption is 22.78m/min, the gas consumption is 28.19mmin, and the heating rate is 74.45 ºC/min. By comparing the manual temperature on site and the temperature collected by the system, under the existing baking conditions, the surface baking temperature of the scrap steel can reach over 1000 ºC.
