Cluster oxygen lance is an application of gas mechanics principles, with accompanying systems installed around the traditional main oxygen flow. Due to the presence of accompanying airflow, an isobaric ring is actually formed around the main oxygen jet, which greatly slows down the decay rate of the oxygen jet and forms an oxygen stream similar to a laser. The bundle oxygen burner has functions such as combustion heating, oxygen blowing and melting assistance, CO secondary combustion, and stirring. The bundle oxygen burner can cut and melt scrap steel more quickly, effectively blowing oxygen into the melt pool, significantly reducing splashing and erosion of the furnace lining. The metal yield is improved, the maintenance cost of the furnace body is reduced, and the utilization rate of hydrogen is greatly improved.
System advantages
1. Due to the concentrated energy of the bundled jet, it has a strong ability to penetrate the molten metal pool;
2. By increasing the stirring intensity of oxygen on molten steel, it can promote steel slag reaction, uniform steel composition and temperature, reduce splashing, improve oxygen utilization rate and metal shrinkage rate.
system composition
The middle hole of the furnace wall bundle oxygen burner is the main oxygen injection hole, followed by the natural gas ring hole (for injecting combustion gas flow) and the oxygen ring hole (for injecting epoxy).
Main technical parameters
Main oxygen flow rate: 2000-2500Nm/h;
Epoxy flow rate: 500Nm/h;
Natural oxygen consumption: 400Nm/h
Natural gas pressure: 03-04MPa;
Ma=2.5 Mach.
Performance comparison
Due to the increasingly fast pace of steelmaking in horizontal feeding electric furnaces, in order to improve the performance of furnace wall oxygen combustion guns with the continuous progress of steelmaking processes, our company has focused on developing furnace wall bundle oxygen combustion guns. After multiple experiments and practical experience on the steelmaking site, we found that bundle oxygen combustion guns have significant improvements in firing rate, range, and penetration compared to ordinary oxygen combustion guns. Moreover, the water cooling effect of the gun body is also very ideal, which improves the life of the gun body. Customer feedback shows that due to the increased utilization rate of oxygen guns, the electricity consumption per ton of steel has significantly decreased compared to ordinary oxygen burners.
